Sit down chain resstaurants serving real food are going extinct due to inflation and increased costs of business.

The lunch specials at Chili's are extremely competitive with the fast food burgers joints. I am not sure how they (and their ilk) will stay in business.

If they get 30% of the customers to buy alcohol with their special at Chili’s, it’s a winner for them.

Chili’s has really turned around. Redesigned new restaurants, very fast and efficient service. Their food is great and they provide a lot for the money.

Texas Roadhouse is another sit-down restaurant chain with great food, great service and great value. My wife and I both love it.

It’s probably been 20 years or more since a new Chili’s opened in my area. The only way they can give those specials is because they built out long ago. And they cut their deals way back a couple years ago. Last time I went it was basically only the burger deal. Everything else on the menu jacked up. Now we just go to Roadhouse or fast casual BBQ instead of Chili’s.
