“This is another setup where whatever happens it’s a win for them”
Well said.
“What do they get out of committing suicde?”
Blackrock, et al., get the (usually) prime land to use for nefarious reasons.
Removing tradition is psyops toward communism.
Good one! :)
I knew the logo from so far away that it was just a blob of color - didn’t have to be able to read it...it was iconic.
They’ll just wait everyone out and very soon people will forget and come back. So many forgot 9/11, NFL kneelers, Target, Gillette, Bud Light, Starbucks, Disney, Wal-Mart, etc.
Julie Felss Masino isn’t a dummy. She will continue to receive a very fat paycheck while the company struggles. If it finally kicks the bucket entirely, she’ll probably walk away with $30 million.
It’s sort of funny that CB refers to its “values”. They know it’s a positive trigger wor for Christians and conservatives. The joke is on us; there are bad values, too.
It’s called Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
The mediocre food alone would keep me from eating there. I live within walking distance of a Kentucky Fried Chicken, but I haven’t eaten there in over a decade because they changed their recipe years ago and their chicken doesn’t taste nearly as good as it used to. There are three Korean eateries within walking distance that serve far better fried chicken.
A number of articles I have seen blame changing the logo. That is only part of it. Changing the decor to a sterile one with none of the country stuff was wrong. And then we are finding out how ‘woke’ the corporation is.
There is a cracker barrel in our town. About 8 miles from my home. We drive past it several times a month. We last ate there about 7 months ago. The service sucked. The food was obviously NOT scratch made, and the price was way more than it used to be. The decor hadn’t changed and was barely noticed by either of us. We haven’t been back. Last month we drove about 700 miles over two days. We passed cracker barrel in favor of Bob Evans once and IHOP another time. Cracker barrel problem isn’t their logo or decor, it is that they are lying about scratch made (maybe the pancakes are), their service sucks, and their prices for what you get are too high.
PERFECT
They got rid of the cracker and the barrel!
You raise a good point. For whatever reason you don’t like a place, it is fairly easy to find another with cell phone gps and car gps while traveling.
