Just remember long hair in traditional families back in the 60’s. Much less dangerous thing to do.
Unfortunately, revolting against authority is part of learning how to make your own decisions. It’s just that the trends kids follow with their peers today has a much wider influence because of the net beyond the craziness their local schoolmates can suggest.
And when adult authority figures applaud these crazy decisions, kids will be tempted to win their approval by following along.
Really tough to be a parent and just as tough to be a growing up soon-to-be adult.
I just mentioned that to the guys as I was filling out my Form 4473 paperwork last night.
They said a couple of different people had checked that “non-binary” box.
