My first car was a 1967 Bonneville. We called it “the barge.”
I had a ‘67 Ventura for several years. I occasionally used it to commute from Rio Rancho to Los Alamos (200 mile round trip). I would average about 17 mpg. Not bad considering I was going from 5300 ft elevation to 7500 ft and back again.
