Maybe if there’s a crash it will start with a selling frenzy on Nvidia?

AI is reaching out through NVIDEA to enslave us all and totally distort the Market.

nVidia is to gaming video chips what Amazon is to online book sales.

>> Nvidia isn’t just dominating in price. It’s woven into the core of global investing. The stock sits inside 667 ETFs, which together control nearly 3.6 billion shares.

They’ll continue to increase in share price (if not value) forever! To the MOON! Just like Intel did! What could possibly go wrong?

What goes up can go down. Several factors have contributed to wholesale price increases for some Nvidia chips. Price increases by a top producer can be market opportunities for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th ranked producers as well as new innovators.

I’ve owned the stock for almost a decade... and my cost basis per share is $0.79, so needless to say that I’m happy with how the stock has performed. With that said, I’d sold off 95% of my original position over the last couple years. I’ve certainly “left money on the table” by gradually getting out as the NVDA ticked ever higher. But ultimately they’re in a commodity business... microprocessors. They may currently be the best in the business at making processors for AI applications, but I simply can’t shake the belief that it is only a matter of time before other companies bring acceptable substitutes to market. In 1980, Texas Instruments was the microprocessor leader. By 1990, Intel was the leader.

“$4.5 trillion”

One million $4.5 million mansions.

Four & half million $1 milion mansions.

Ten million $450,000 houses.

As for AI in weapons, the Russians will have to use their heads to program available chips such as those used in cellphones.
