Yes and no.

Most locations are right off the interstate. So they are catering to customers who are traveling on a long road trip.

Plus some local regulars.

All they have to do is to offer a better dining option than McDonald's or a truck stop.

If you're traveling for 8 hours, you'll rather have a meal at Cracker Barrel.

From what I've searched, 40% of their customers are travelers.

Yep, and that be me!

We stop for a meal and some nifty trinkets .

The road alternative is ‘Buckies’ - lots of toilets, lots of trinkets, lots of gas pumps.
