We had a guy trying to pose as a mailman sneak into our condo are and attempting to open the outgoing mailbox. I asked him where his uniform/ID/vehicle were and he tried to claim he was new and hadn’t got those yet - I took a pic with my phone (which he tried to stop, but then noticed my right hand on the butt of my weapon) and he ran off, leaving the 2 US mail bins that he must have stolen and brought with him.
I took his pic and security camera footage to the cops and the local postal center and nothing was ever done....
Like SPAM emails and texts - beware of fakes.....
I have a .300 Weatherby that qualifies. It'll go through the door, through the first guy's vest, through him, through the back of the vest, into the guy behind him's vest, through that guy and maybe get stopped by the vest on the other side. Or not. Either way, the jig is up.
That said, a .45 is a little less egregious but you do have to aim for a noggin of a vest wearer which means opening the door.
Ski masks? Serving a warrant? Lol!
I first read that as "Hellhole Drive".
Your comment, as well as mine, is why I do not believe in a 9 mil for home self defense. Both our weapons will get the job done.
What’s not to like? Perfect for the opening scene of a new full length movie version of Adam-12, where the perps steal Malloy and Reed’s identities but pick the wrong guy to rob and the wrong two cops to impersonate.
The “wrong guy to rob” could be the retired son of Sgt. MacDonald...(the possibilities are endless).
Yeah, right. /s
Deadly HPD raid leads to policy changes, FBI civil rights investigation
‘Police said if you’re ever unsure whether it is really the police outside your door, there are some signs to look for.
“Obviously, a police car with some sort of lights and sirens and a bullhorn where we’ll be announcing ourselves,” HPD Detective Kyle Stringer told Choi.
Stringer noted that real officers do not wear ski masks.’
Rather scary for the victim.
He survived.
He was smart.
They bought all their gear from Amazon. And “bullet proof” is really a misnomer.
I gave mine to my son, BUT, I still have a double barrel 12 Gauge loaded with 00 and my backup is a S & W 357 Magnum with 2 speed loaders.
If I have to get down to other rooms, 30-06, 30-30 and multiple 38's.
There are no guns stored in locked safes and an unloaded gun is just an expensive hammer.
“Expensive Hammer!”
.
Salute
At ten to twenty feet (home defense range) all the shotgun pellets are still packed togeter.
The term “scattergun” is a misnomer.
Necessary, yeah. Fun, no.
Hope yer good
Agreed.
This would make a good ‘Shoot / Don’t Shoot’ drill.
Just wait...Democrats will be writing a law soon mandating the arrest of all boring people!
Lol!
