yes, it really is a drop in the bucket. I’m hoping things pick up from here on out and they can start getting rid of millions instead of thousands. Because when you have millions and they’re having children and each woman is having on average about six kids from Mexico, which are the statistics, then you really have to pick up the pace otherwise you just get bogged down by the numbers.

Who is going to take care of my yard, and clean my house?

Wait a minute, I do that. I’ve always done that.

Yep the democrats push minimum wages higher and higher, knowing that it’s a scam many people will never receive.
The higher minimum is actually used as a magnet to pull in tons of low paid illegals.
Meanwhile, those who do get the minimum wage cause an inflation that harms the low paid workers.
In a healthy society, wages and prices would be lower and poorer CITIZENS would benefit as they climb up the economic ladder.

All you have to do is obey the law.

Illegal alien labor is making LA the dystopian nightmare that LA currently is.

Illegal alien labor does not save money , it shifts the costs of that cheap labor onto the taxpayer in the form of welfare, free health care, much higher insurance costs, higher sales tax(when illegal aliens do not pay taxes, the only way to tax them is at point of sale so state and local governments jack up sales tax to the max) Section 8 housing, cost to subsidize the vast number American/California citizens made homeless or welfare dependents by illegals due to higher housing costs and inability to get a decent job due to illegal alien competition) and astronomical societal costs to deal with the crime, education and other societal problems the illegals present to society.

Plus the illegals send about $500 -$1000 a month of their welfare payments to their families in Mexico and other places

The system the Democrats have imposed on California is simply insane.

It didn't used to be this way.

California was once the promised land where a young working class couple could move, get a great high paying job buy a starter home, send your kids to the best schools and universities in the world and generally live the American dream.

I have not even heard the term "starter home" mentioned in the last 25 years.

Good grief! We really are making the Democrats angry by freeing their slaves.

It makes one wonder who their employer is, and whether or not said employer is paying them under the table. The feds might be interested in that.

Where I live, the months of July and August have brought construction workers to the streets of our neighborhood, replacing broken sidewalks, fixing curbs and re- paving the roads. Being done with that, now there are crews with huge rolls of an orange cable inserting it into the ground. I think it’s fiber optic, but I’m not sure. The only actual “white” guy in any of these crews that I’ve seen appears to be a boss, or supervisor. All the rest appear to be dark skinned Hispanic men. I wonder how many of them are actually American citizens. It’s not just in our neighborhood, either, but all over the city.

1. Sideline critics of this policy have no idea how severely these tens of millions of wetbacks impact our politics. It's devastating.

2. This is exactly the reason the RAT party is so desperate for open borders, viz. it's the only way for them to stay in power.

Right, and I think that’s typical. There was a crew doing work on my neighbors roof and siding. When they would arrive, the ‘boss’ would be with them. Once they got to work, he’d leave.

It’s interesting also that once the work was done, she had a break in at her house.

The police said, ‘Is your roof and siding new?’ She said ...’yes’.

Well, turns out that in the block behind our area, new siding and new roof work was also followed by break in’s. Their work was a perfect way to case her home and yard. One of her windows had a faulty lock, and they knew it because they asked if she wanted it replaced.

Those crews were also illegals and of course you know, they were CERTAINLY paid in cash. That would protect the worker and also the contractor.

If an illegal losing a job constitutes a job ‘loss’ then it wasn’t a ‘job’

Especially when most of the money goes back to Mexico instead of circulating in America.

L.A. tax base will take big hit too. Any replacement businesses will probably have higher prices. Cost of living will rise for CA residents, as if it wasn’t expensive enough.

...but that is what happens when the cost of living is subsidized with cheap, exploitative, labor. I don’t feel bad for any of them - those that came illegally (I’m a legal immigrant, now citizen) or those that enjoyed exploiting them.

We need a 40% tax on wire transfers to Mexico and severe penalties for employers, in order to start seeing millions instead of thousands deporting. I’ve yet to see a single employer punished.

My folks moved to Santa Ana in 1957 when I was 2. I still remember the starter home, still there, and all the orange groves. Disney had just open and we could play in safety in the culdesac. Around 1968, it all started going downhill.

Ghost towns, you say?

PERFECT place(s) to shelter the homeless & give people a fresh start to get back up on their feet again.

“I wonder what this does to the cost of housing?”

Already dropping in Texas. Even though Illegals are generally at the bottom of the housing ladder, once you remove them, legal people who are poor but forced into more expensive house can step-down and take the now cheaper units, and those above that level can then step down, and so on.

In other English-speaking countries, women are stronger politically, so they’re importing MASS AMOUNTS of migrants, far faster than housing can be built, so the prices are through the roof. I remember looking at apartments in Australia, for example, I’d see apartment prices of around $1000 to $1500 (US dollars)...not bad, until I realized that they now price apartments at weekly rates. Same for Ireland, UK, and now even non-English speaking countries in Europe.

Yup, California's drive for majority minority demographics via importation of illiterate, low functioning welfare dependent third world illegal aliens has been a disaster

Libs are getting nervous because:

“ During a town hall in Newport on May 29, Balint suggested that President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown will leave Vermonters without “anyone around to wipe our asses.”
