This is surprising. I know people are saying Cracker Barrell is going Woke with its makeover. But the new sign really doesn’t seem Woke to me. It just seems like an update. The old sign was a little dated. I think the reason the stock is plunging is a reduction in quality over the past couple years. I really noticed that their menu went to Hell for at least the past year.

I don’t think it’s the sign as much as new interior decor. As cozy and comfy as an operating room.

I hear the food sucks of late. I have personally never been to one. And I used to travel for work but I always found local/mom pop joints to eat at or cooked my own when I was able to.

I guess I am an outlier. I like the new logo for the sign better. I also like the remodel. The old ones are filthy from the floors to the ceiling. I don’t get any sense of “woke” behind this.

In short:

New sign is better to me.
New design of restaurant is better also.

I wonder if this is about people just hating any change ever.
