This comet isn’t going anywhere near the sun. At its closest it will be between the orbits of Earth and Mars.

it is flying “in” to the solar system (which means it is flying towards the sun). It will then wipe around the backside (from our position) and then pick up speed as it is slung out of the solar system again even faster than it entered.
