Both Microsoft and Adobe have stolen their products back from me by making them useless unless I buy a new one via BS 'subscription' and hiding lots and lots of features I used to have formerly.

The new MS Word is total BS, you can't use any of the features you painfully learned to use over the years, by their new theft-by-subscription model. Same with Adobe.

#38 You can buy a copy with a one time purchase for $35. I bought Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 - en-us thru Groupon online earlier this year in August. No rental.
Uninstall older version, restart pc. Install new Office 2024 then restart the pc.
