FYI, Trump was the first President to send lethal military aid and US troops to train the Ukrainians.

He is not considering any such thing. He mentioned the possibility of American troops in Ukraine (like we have in Germany today, for example) AFTER the war is over as a deterrent to military attacks.

US Troops would NOT go to Ukraine as long as the war is ongoing.
If a peace treaty is signed, Putin asked Trump not to stage troop in Ukraine but would allow security guarantees by NATA/USA for Ukraine.
No one knows what kind of security, but it isn’t troops. The speculation by the media have suggested this, but they have no idea, really.
