My question is, how did the Brewers suddenly get so frickin’ good?

The Brewers always surge in the regular season and flop in the playoffs.

They are so exciting to watch. Every time they win in some spectacular way. Down 7 yesterday. Tagging the runner at home plate to win the game a few games before. Somebody nailing a grand slam. Almost every game there’s some easter egg.

And the Cubs, Mets and Yankees so bad?

Tell me about it. They’re now 33 games above .500 and still rolling. Hod DID they get so good? It doesn’t help if one is a Cubs fan, like me, who now sees their team going through their traditional June swoon which has now gone into July and August.
