Several years back this same Crutchfield argued that covert, compulsory “moral enhancement” should be used to alter the neurological inclinations of certain populations, e.g., criminally-inclined or sexually promiscuous segments of the population. Or perhaps to disable that pesky “god gene” that causes people to adopt religious beliefs.
