(one of my all-time favorite groups ... CCR)
“John Fogerty dead 2025” : Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman killed by internet death hoax

He’s a fortunate son...
I love rock and roll!
Credence never quite was my favorite.
I’m more (Led Zeppelin or Lynyrd Skynyrd).
However they entertained a generation
and I’m glad the man is still alive.
He”s no millionaires son.
So, he’s not dead.
He’s just the Old Man Down the Road.
Willie understands this...
Still Not Dead
Willie Nelson
“I woke up still not dead again today
The internet said I had passed away
If I died I wasn’t dead to stay
And I woke up still not dead again today”

I heard he got him a job on the river...
You Heard it through the Grape Vine.
I once phoned a Christian radio station and asked them if they had any songs by Christian Cross Revival.
Like Proud Mary.
Fortunate Son.
Walk on the Water.
They said they never heard of the band.
True, but just about a year ago, he set out on the road, looking for fame and fortune and that elusive pot of gold.
That wuz cold!
He was down on the corner.
As far as I know, he’s still in Lodi...
Maybe he was hanging out with Willie and the poor boys.
I heard There’s a Bathroom on the Right.
News reports: John Fogerty is dead.
John Fogerty: That ain’t me! That ain’t me!
Morgue: Put’im in cold!
From Indiana here and I actually got to see Lodi. It’s in California and we took a wrong turn and a few miles later we went through this little town in the Central Valley. Right there was a sign saying LODI. Instantly I yelled “CCR” and my wife about jumped out of her seat🤣.
It was full of foreigners with turbans on. Or at least the part I saw.
What the hell are we doing to our own nation?, trying to give it away?
rhetorical question——
There is a Lodi, New Jersey, also.
In the 60s, my dad had a factory there that made a kid’s toy product that was soapy. You would dip in a little hoop and blow in it and make bubbles.
Every so often, the nearby river would overflow and flood the factory and there would be soap and suds everywhere!
He sold the factory before the EPA came into being, thank goodness.
I learned a long time ago; those pop-up blurbs were just click bait.
