The head is shaped entirely wrong for a retriever.
Mutts can come out pretty weird sometimes. You should see one of my present dogs little sisters, her head and coloration looks exactly like Sid the Sloth. Flatish head, eyes bulging out of the “corners” of the skull, bulbous nose inflated as though its going to pop.
Awww!
Could have fooled me.
Thought it was goiung to be “but when the vet saw the DNA results he immediately called police.”
That’s a cute mutt.
He'll be smarter than a golden retriever.
Steve Martin never dreamed he was adopted in The Jerk.
Have mercy on this dog.
That’s one good looking dog.
Cute Mutt.
Instead, the test revealed Walter was a mix of an Australian cattle dog (31.9 percent); small poodle (24.4 percent); and German shepherd dog (14.1 percent).
The rest of Walter’s heritage was a mix of chow chow, Labrador retriever, and American pit bull terrier, the test stated; all very different-looking dogs, which had somehow combined to produce Walter.
I adopted an absolutely ADORABLE corgi and his DNA showed that his parents were chihuahua and Siberian Husky.
They are going to call him Warren? Publish a cookbook? Run him for Senator?
Mutts are better dogs anyway.
DNA tests were wrong. Try again.
Me thinks the lab made a mistake.
My mother had her dog tested a few weeks ago just out of curiosity, she got it at the pound and we couldn’t figure out what she was a mix of.
I laughed like hell when the bloodwork came back - Pure Great Pyrenees. I mean she does have huge dew claws on her, they’re monstrous things, but she has both a narrow face and head like a runner breed and is a short haired very vivid brindle.
At least she shows no sign of hip dyspepsia like her other pure bred dogs both had.
Pretty little HAPPY dog!
Beautiful!!
Well he kind of looks like a golden.
Wife and I just took in another stray that had been in our neighborhood for about a month; at first glance from the back she looked like a strangely colored coyote. From the front she looks like your typical German shepherd, facial structure, eyes, quite light in color tho, and the most unusual eyes I have ever seen in a dog - a pale grey/almost white irises with a tinge of blue at the bottom, and in a reflected light the interior is bright red (similar to albino). Going to get a DNA test done for informations sake. Anyone want to take a guess?
