When Your Lover Has Gone - Oascar Peterson & Ben Webster
There Will Never Be Another You - Oscar Peterson & Lester Young
Peterson was a very humble, gentle Christian man. I saw him a few times. He cam off the stage in Manhattan and shook our hands and thanked us for coming
Definitely he is the greatest jazz musician born outside the U.S. (Sorry, Django)

The Trio- Oscar Peterson - In the Wee small hours of the morning. 8 minutes you won’t regret.
Greatest jazz musician born anywhere!
Highly recommend Ben Webster Meets Oscar Peterson from 1959 . I often play drums along with it .
I read a story once about another jazz pianist who, when he was up-and-coming in the south and midwest, would bill himself as “the world’s greatest jazz pianist.”
According to the story, this person (who’s name I can’t bring to mind) heard Oscar Peterson play, and he stopped describing himself using those words, permanently.
