My great grandmother-in-law just passed her driving test. She’s 106 and the NM DMV said she may be the oldest driver in NM.
All her daughters and granddaughters are alive except the one that died in Vietnam.
She eats two eggs a day, lots of fish, and chugs coffee and tea all day. Cold hot green normal, whatever. Not shy about caffeine or hamburger meat, which she puts in everything.
All her food is homemade except triscuits, which she eats as a snack in the afternoon. Makes lots of sourdough.
Gardens and does nature walks (easy, about 2 miles, takes her 40 minutes), alone with her dogs.
She’s definitely old and we expect to find her dead on a trail one day, but that’s the way she likes it.
