I’ve had tax return checks stolen and on one occasion a check that was mailed was never received by the intended recipient. I only send checks or any other monetary instrument by UPS or FedEx now.
i laugh at the EBT people who brag and brag and then later a video comes out that they have to pay back. Just saw one where she said she has to pay back $27k and said people should mind their own business
one of the more obnoxious ones is always bragging she has a plug in the EBT office who takes care of “me and mines”. Always dancing around and acting like a fool with the EBT groceries.
In New Mexico decades ago, you could cash S.S. checks without ID for 25% to 50% of face value. A check cashing ring was funneling the checks through various “stores” in New Mexico. Traveling through New Mexico i saw many billboards saying “Checks cashed- no ID required.” It took years of investigating to shut it down.

I think you are right about huge fraud rings in the post office. I’ve heard some of those USPS employees actually bragging about taking things.
I’ve read up on side effects of the vaccine. Not for me especially in light of the way I react to vaccines.
Now that we know what to look for and how it progresses we’ll get it sooner.
Half of all post office employees are below average.

I had someone on a thread in the last few days insisting he mailed checks all the time, that it was no problem.
The USPO has been a train wreck in the ATL area for several years. I suspect DEI.
We had that same thing going on in N. ATL suburbs. I knew the chief of police, heard about it from him, they were involved in the investigation, but it got into the Postal Inspection Service pretty quickly. This about half a dozen years ago.
That’s one of the questions axed for prospective employees - “have you ever quit because you were under investigation?”
They lowered the bar considerably for hiring, and it shows. They should hang anybody who steals Christmas cards from Grandma. The clerks or carriers (or Supervisors) would riffle through the letters - a red envelope or whatever. Just scum.
