Sturgis is the one big ralley I haven’t attended.
Probably for the best.
For some odd reason, I remember this tidbit, the password on my phone, not always:
Pee-wee Herman’s dad was one of Israel’s top guns
Milton Rubenfeld was a top-gun pilot for the United States Army Air Force in World War II.
Rubenfeld was one of five Jewish pilots who secretly answered the call and took to the skies in smuggled fighter planes to give Israel a fighting chance against superior Arab forces. Their story is the subject of the documentary Above and Beyond,
-—In this scene, Pee-wee’s beloved bicycle is stolen, leading him on a cross-country adventure to retrieve it.
He finds himself at a biker bar, where he accidentally knocks over a row of motorcycles, leading to a confrontation with the gang.
To avoid a beating, Pee-wee performs his famous “Tequila” dance, which impresses the bikers and earns him their respect and assistance.
The film is a quirky and surreal comedy directed by Tim Burton and is considered a cult classic.”
