my husband, who is hard of hearing, missed the quiet boarding call for a flight to the Philippines; when he went up to ask when they were boarding, the plane had left, but they arranged for him to get on a flight the next day and got him a hotel room; and then they put a note on his reservation that he was handicapped so this wouldn’t happen again.
They got on the correct flight.
What they missed was another flight was available.
All their fellow passengers got on the other flight.
