I guess it it starts slowing down we can get excited.


We will not know that until it passes the Sun. By then, any slowing or course change will be difficult because we will only see it by looking directly into the Sun.

I meant on its way in. If it slows down and changes course to intercept Earth…we might be a bit concerned. Otherwise, some planet spun off a big chunk of rock and tossed it into space.

I read of one scientist who said that the universe is a big place, with lots of stuff we’ve never seen before. We need to make sure we don’t get over excited every time we see something new. I think he is right.
