FWIW, I think of human evolution as more of crap shoot, lots of losing rolls of the dice until God's creation threw boxcars.
I think we evolved at all. It think we were created in stages small DNA changes at each installment. But each installment would have to be allowed to prove it’s self for a couple hundred thousand years to weed out the weak and make the previous strain stronger and ready for the next installment. It fits... One species ends and another pops up slightly more biologically advanced at the same time, then repeat, then repeat.
They didn’t evolve along side each other simultaneously like they should have like Canine species and others. A new biologically dominant species always replaced the older one. And they have always had trouble explaining why this is. Why they each remained biologically the same for tens of thousands of years and then almost overnight they are replaced and go extinct. If this is true, it then begs the question who did this engineering?
I now believe the Sumerians were right... And the same concept is supported by almost every origin story in the world except Christianity.
