He just has to know for sure. There cannot be any measure of doubt about whether Parker and Stone are safely anti-Trump enough. Otherwise the Vanity Fair writer will continue to spend sleepless nights trying to figure it out.

Or else what? Parker and Stone don’t care who they piss off. That’s kind of the point of parody. They’re social commentators. That’s what they do. That the liberals respond in this way tells me that they have zero sense of humor. Give yourself over to us completely, or you’re not a true believer. Unreal.

That episode was really offensive so I turned it off.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone hate both conservatives and liberals. This writer has nothing to fear: they will continue skewering Trump, Catholic priests and other public figures.

What do I care? I have never read Vanity Fair and doubt that I ever will. I have never watched South Park. And I've never heard of David Canfield.

South Park never really recovered from losing Chef and the introduction of PC Principal. Them trying to turn Garrison into a Trump wannabe in 2016 sealed it from being funny ever again. I’ve tried to watch but never laugh. I give up.

They took on Charlie Kirk but he just stepped into it, loves it, and poof, there goes all the wind out of their sails.

What if they gave a South Park and no one was offended?

I’m guessing no more than three out of 10 people are still paying any attention to what South Park does or does not portray. This show, just like SNL still considers itself to be the eye in the storm of trending topics.

Says more about Vanity Fair.

South Park is just offensive. The two creators have had nothing to offer society - except offensive juvenile humor.

I sort of tapered off watching South Park over the last few seasons. Right now I have a couple of episodes recorded that I might or might not eventually watch. The show just isn’t all that funny now, and their political satire was always pretty lame no matter who was the target.

South Park has a reputation for stomping on toes all around and making fun of trannies. And didn't they call Hillary a "sh*t sandwich" in 2016?

There is also possibility the last two episodes were over the top parodies of lefty paranoia even while doing Trump no favors.

It's not enough to dislike Trump. To be a true Democrat you must be an hysterical ninny about it.

I gave up on South Park when they had a quadriplegic Christopher Reeve sucking the stem cells from aborted fetuses.

Oh wait. No, I didn't. That was funny as hell.

Well, this is interesting...

If you want to know why South Park never took swings at Joe Biden the same way they’ve been doing to President Trump, the show’s lawyer also just so happens to be the guy who funded Hunter Biden’s legal defenses.
