If a doctor prescribed diet pills to an anorexic, or performed liposuction on an anorexic, he'd be sitting in prison and the hospital sued out of existence. Yet, if he prescribes opposite sex hormones and mutilates the genitals of a patient with Gender Dysphoria, even to the point of sterilization, he's rewarded.
