A transgender bus driver took her own life by jumping in front of a train after colleagues kept referring to her as male.
Ava Michal Hudson, 27, died on August 7 last year on her way to work at the Chicago Transit Authority, while in her uniform.
She didn't leave a note and gave no indication she was suicidal before suddenly leaping to her death, just four days after attending her brother's wedding.
'Sadly, we’ll never fully know the reason for her death, but the pain left behind after her sudden departure has been acute,' her family wrote in her obituary.
'She has already been mourned by many, many friends and relatives across the globe. She will be very much missed and never forgotten.'
Hudson got her bus license just seven months earlier, last January, and passed probation weeks before her death, proudly announcing it in her final Facebook post.
The new job was a turning point for Hudson after several years of struggling with her gender and unemployment after graduating from Wheaton College in 2020.
Transition costs were expensive, running to $875 a month according to a 2022 court petition to legally change her name, plus more for counseling.
Her $61,000 bus driver salary finally allowed for expensive procedures and gave her financial independence for the first time.
'The day she got her CDL driver’s permit in November 2023 was one of the happiest days of her later life and things finally started to take a turn for the better,' her obituary read.
'She often called or texted photos to her family during breaks on her bus routes.'
But the job never quite fit - both literally, with a boxy uniform that led to passengers innocently calling her 'sir', and her isolation in the role.

Not to mention the pain from the surgeries - to make female genitalia, a cavity is made and they need to insert an object (I can’t remember the name of it) to keep the cavity from sealing up.
I remember Bruce Jenner being in an accident and a woman was killed. Not long after, he ‘became’ Caitlin. I wonder if he feels blameless now since it was someone else in the accident?
WE are not responsible for how people view themselves or feel about themselves. If they were TRULY at peace with ‘becoming a woman’ it wouldn’t matter what others say or think. People are just innocently voicing what the ‘trans’ know all along- they will ALWAYS be a man.
I venture to say any person that thinks they can convert from male to female or vice versa is insane, crazy, mentally ill, nuts, screw loose, around the bend , lost their marbles, possessed, however it’s described, they’re delusional and to make it worse ,they are cheered on and encouraged by people preying on and taking advantage of their mental instability.

In some countries, like Japan, a suicide’s family is held responsible for the delays in the hold-up of the transportation system, though that shame probably wouldn’t translate to Western values, self-centered as these crybabies are.
In Hokkaido, Japan, the train stations have installed mirrors in abundance. For some reason, when jumpers look at themselves just before the act, they often have second thoughts.
Headline is blatantly false given this information. No one knows the reason for the suicide and the headline suggests the author does. Shameful.

One of my friends is trans, I knew her for a year or so before another friend mentioned it.
I had thought she was kind of rough looking for a female.
She is a Trump voter and very conservative.
Seems normal otherwise, a hard worker and into several hobbies.
I still refer to her as "she", "her" etc., because, so what? Whatever makes her happy is fine with me.
There are interesting books about Edgar Cayce that might, as an aside, have an answer to why folks are what they are.
Suppose your soul had been incarnated many times as one sex, it doesn't matter which. Then suppose in this lifetime you are incarnated as the other sex. You won't know why, but you might look down and say, "what the hell is this"?
Of course you are going to "identify" as something other than what your birth certificate says.
Even more confusing, suppose you were incarnated in many lifetimes back and forth, one sex, then the other? That's when the "something else" might kick in, adding letters to the sex list.
IMHO, the few people who might suffer from this would be the "real" alphabet people.
Then there are the ones talked into it by parents, "teachers", doctors, etc., and the ones just going along with another stupid fad.
The latter is why no one should be getting drugged or operated on until at least age 18 to have time to figure out what might be reality for them.

Happened to someone I knew pretty well. Great expectations of the new life didn't pan out. Suicide within 2 years of the "transition."
