A transgender bus driver took her own life by jumping in front of a train after colleagues kept referring to her as male.
Ava Michal Hudson, 27, died on August 7 last year on her way to work at the Chicago Transit Authority, while in her uniform.
She didn't leave a note and gave no indication she was suicidal before suddenly leaping to her death, just four days after attending her brother's wedding.
'Sadly, we’ll never fully know the reason for her death, but the pain left behind after her sudden departure has been acute,' her family wrote in her obituary.
'She has already been mourned by many, many friends and relatives across the globe. She will be very much missed and never forgotten.'
Hudson got her bus license just seven months earlier, last January, and passed probation weeks before her death, proudly announcing it in her final Facebook post.
The new job was a turning point for Hudson after several years of struggling with her gender and unemployment after graduating from Wheaton College in 2020.
Transition costs were expensive, running to $875 a month according to a 2022 court petition to legally change her name, plus more for counseling.
Her $61,000 bus driver salary finally allowed for expensive procedures and gave her financial independence for the first time.
'The day she got her CDL driver’s permit in November 2023 was one of the happiest days of her later life and things finally started to take a turn for the better,' her obituary read.
'She often called or texted photos to her family during breaks on her bus routes.'

“The pain left behind by her sudden departure” has got to be the cruelest phrase in an obit about someone who was killed by a speeding train. That was certainly sudden.

There is a transed man to women in our small town. He was homely as a man, and all the eye shadow and long hair won’t change that. Yet, every time he posts a picture, 100 women and some men comment how beautiful and lovely he looks. Beautiful indeed.

BUT and you knew that was coming we all warned them but our voices, including mine was canceled (on other platforms) so we just threw our hands up in the air and walked away from them. We saw this coming and were powerless to stop it.
They got our kids in our schools, on tictok and in planned parenthood. We protested and were called haters, terfs, and homophobes, what ever. Women have had to put up with sicko men in women’s bathrooms and locker rooms.
Now after they had the transition, after they damaged their bodies and minds, they are committing suicide.
Do you know when I first read this article I thought he had drove his bus in front of a train? I had to re-read several times to realize he walked in front of it? What if he had done that and the bus was full of people? The next looney one just might.
She (he) graduated from Wheaton College in 2020, and she was a BUS DRIVER?? Wheaton College costs $62,000 a year to attend. It’s a private, conservative Christian college with a world class reputation. Someone failed this unfortunate mentally ill person. I’ll have to ask a guy I know who works there, if the college buys into the transgender lie. I would hope not, but this day and age, nothing would surprise me.
This only proves how dangerously unstable these people are. No way they should be anywhere near the military.

If a doctor prescribed diet pills to an anorexic, or performed liposuction on an anorexic, he'd be sitting in prison and the hospital sued out of existence. Yet, if he prescribes opposite sex hormones and mutilates the genitals of a patient with Gender Dysphoria, even to the point of sterilization, he's rewarded.

My first reaction was, “A happy ending,” but that might be interpreted as insensitive. So, my 2nd reaction was, “Merciful,” but that’s a cruel act to thrust upon the engineer, witnesses and first responders, etc. Then my 3rd reaction was, “Would make a great flop of a drama on Broadway,” then I realized that the ones escaping headlines are those promoting this BS and all negative aspects of the mental illness.
The real tragedy here is that we can’t put all the ‘trans’ promoters in front of a train.
We were taught in my Abnormal Psychology course that it is both cruel and dangerous to participate in someone's delusions.
