Insiders working on the sequels said that the budget for the following two entries in the franchise would likely be significantly higher, at over $100 million. The report revealed that the two movies are set to be filmed in Rome. Several other filming locations have been planned, including southern Italian towns of Altamura, Ginosa, Gravina, Laterza, and Matera.

Oh my! I can't wait. I only watched the Passion of the Christ one time. I really can't bear in my heart to see it again. The pain, the “breakdown” was too, too much.

When the movie first came out, I flew into town to see my daughter and then my folks for Easter. I went with my best friend to see in on Easter. We sat in the theater, holding each other and crying.

There were groups of people, coming in right after church in their Easter fineness. There was crying, there was shouting and there was impromptu hymn singing breaking out. I never experienced anything like that in a theater. Never....

I'm crying now as I'm relieving that experience. I will see this movie. I owe it to put some money in the pocket of Mel Gibson, as he broke open wide the hollywood monopoly on movie making.
