I have never had the courage to see it. I have a hard time watching violence, particularly of the kind Mel Gibson utilizes in all his films. That having been said, I know my Lord went willingly through unspeakable horror and torment so this unworthy one could be rescued. My love and awe of him is boundless.

We went through Isaiah 53 today at Bible study and does that ever tug at the heart strings.
If the sequels to the Passion are done with the same realism then I imagine they will be very uplifting and encouraging!
