Not quite reaching Zimbabwe or Weimar Republic levels of currency denominations yet.
I have been pushing for President Trump to order the printing of $500 and $1000 bills.
A $100 bill to day is worth about the same as a $10 in 1965.
A $1000 bill today would be about the same value as a $100 bill was in 1965.
It would make commerce easier, and back away from the total control a central bank digital currency would make possible.
Cash is becoming worthless? Says who?
Give ‘em time...
It’s about time. $500 is not what it used to be. Ditto for $1000.
They are just preparing us for when the US dollar hits Argentina levels of devaluation which might be only 2-3 years away.
Under the table political largesse[last’e’ for excellent] becomes easier.(as if it weren’t already)
Time is money, so therefore you are saying, "Give them money."
This is this guy Martin Armstrong. I guess for some reason we are supposed to take whatever he says at face value.
Armstrong is a disinformation agent, conspiracy theorist and fearmonger. He likes these themes because he is also a legendary scammer. He needs stupid people that are scammed easily and this is how he gets them.
I guess for some reason we are supposed to take whatever he says at face value.

I will spoon feed you, this time.

Official Title as Introduced.
To amend the Federal Reserve Act to require the Secretary of the Treasury to print $500 Federal reserve notes featuring a portrait of the 45th President of the United States.
“Not quite reaching Zimbabwe or Weimar Republic levels of currency denominations yet.”
After watching Austin Powers International Man of Mystery Mrs. BBB333 received 100 Billion Dollars for Christmas (a Zimbabwe note that I paid roughly $7.00 for on EBay).
She still has it on her office wall.
And make sure you don’t accumulate a large running balance. The average bank card rate is 21%. Its very hard for most people to pay off balances with rates that high. Store cards are even higher — about 30%.
Moronic. At SOME point, basic 2% inflation will make the penny meaningless and require a step up in the largest bill denomination. That's basic logic. Since we have never in 249 years stepped up one level yet, it is not unreasonable to think that now might be the proper time. The difference in value of a $100 bill today compared to 1925 is VAST. You could buy a new car with a few of them in 1925. Now you can barely buy a children's toy car with a few of them. A step up... adding the $500 and erasing the penny... is simply a mathematical reality, and not some strained historical comparison to the Roman Empire.
We will still have ten basic denomination units... Nickel, dime, quarter, dollar, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and now 500 instead of the penny.
The collapse of our "empire" is close, but it isn't indicated by a single step up in denomination units after a full century of explosive growth in wealth for the entire planet (mostly due to our growth and influence).

Who knows? Maybe Armstrong has a special insight into financial matters. But he spent 11 years in jail for fraud. That makes me very suspicious of anything he might say.
Kinda like Al Sharpton giving advice on racial healing.
