Never in history have I heard of women complaining that men weren’t paying enough attention to them.

My father told me many years ago when I was young, "the more beautiful she is and the more she demands attention, the more likely it is that somewhere there is a guy who is tired of putting up with her bullshit."

So in fact, its been a thing, since forever.

Yum-Yum: “Yes, I am indeed beautiful! Sometimes I sit and wonder, in my artless Japanese way, why it is that I am so much more attractive than anybody else in the whole world. Can this be vanity? No! Nature is lovely and rejoices in her loveliness. I am a child of Nature, and take after my mother.”

Your father was spot on. I could say more, but don’t want to be assassinated.

Correct. And women interested in a serious relationship rather than a fling don’t do this stuff.

This article seems to be reflect an attitude that these women believe their looks make them entitled to something.

I certainly don’t mind women being beautiful and attractive. Arrogantly flaunting it is another matter...and is very unattractive behavior.
