It was pretty bad here in northern Missouri last week. The air had a strong burning odor for several days.
For about the last 2 months here in North Dakota.
Increase their tariffs by 25%
Sensitive groups such as “pregnant people”?
Is whoever wrote this afraid to say pregnant women? Is he or she that afraid of implying that only women can be pregnant?
Yep, writer should be ridiculed for that.
Sue Canada for air pollution
Yep, hazy in SE Michigan this morning, but it seemed worse last summer.
Good catch. Agenda or ignorance?
What’s with these fires? I know the liberals would use them to push global warming. But do we know the causes? Are these fires in such remote locations that they just let them burn?
Fine the Canadians for the damage to Americans.
We’re seeing it.
A beautiful, cloudless day with low humidity that should have a clear blue sky and all we have is ...haze.
Last night when I saw the moon, it was red. I knew immediately that it was wildfire smoke.
We’ve had it before in past years as well. Same kind of haze with the same weather conditions.
Much as we’d like to open the windows for fresh air, that’s not happening until this passes. We’ keep the AC and furnace blower on to filter out as much as we can.
Michigan has a lot of it even when only 3 states were involved last week.
The part I hate is plastic and various chemicals in burning debris, not just the particulates from the trees, can get into the bloodstream through the lungs and settle in organs. Body tries to discharge it but sometimes it can’t get it all.
Exactly like 911.
I have a weather app on my iPad that also shows wildfires and earthquake activity and there are LOTS of fires pretty far north. I doubt they are in areas that can be easily reached and any they do put out, will have a minimal impact with that many.
Blame Canada...they never rake their forests.
Wildfire smoke is miserable.
We can get smothered by it in the CA big valley, and I have sympathy for those in the NE right now.
It’s been hazy in northeast Oklahoma.
Pretty smokey here in the Boston area...
Late last week is was pretty crappy in Central Illinois for a couple of days.
