Unfortunately these sort of things trend throughout industries like Banking as an example. And once it trends to all Banks they make it mandatory to get an account or do business with them. So there is nowhere else to go and no other option but to comply because they all require it.

“Trends” are a real problem. And it is our own fault because there are enough dummies out there who will not stand against policies and practices like this. So those who would rather like to opt out can’t. They would have to give up a vital needed service altogether.

Example Cell Phone contracts, if you do not agree to the very unfair one sided terms of service that is universal throughout the whole industry and all suppliers then you cannot get any service at all. They put you in a corner where you have absolutely no way to choose any other option because there are none.

Honestly I hate being forced into this position because of trends with a passion.
