Men who carry their smartphones in their pants pocket have much higher rates of testicular cancer. Brain tumors regularly appear on the side of the head where hours-a-day users hold their phone. OSHA and the FCC are conducting ongoing research into radiation dangers posed to linemen, arborists, construction workers and anyone else who works in the vicinity of cell towers. The market for EMF protective gear is growing by leaps and bounds.

Yeah, that non-ionizing radiation will get you every time!

Probably 50% of the time. It's crazy!

I had a forty year career in telecommunications.   Starting in the USAF, I worked around a Lenkurt 45BX3 microwave radio system and the waveguides were notorious for the microwave radiation spilled all over.   It was 1950's state of the art.

When I got out of the USAF, I was shocked to see that same sort of gear being used by ITT, SPRINT and MCI in our terminals.

I'll never forget that when I visited the MCI Chicago Terminal, the actual microwave radio, waveguide and antenna was on the floor shooting out of the window, with technician's desks in a half circle around it.   Would you care to guess the magnitudes of power it took for point-to-point transmissions over miles across the country compared to the infinitesimally small signal from a local cell signal and cellphone?

And at 72 years, I haven't had any sign of a tumor even though I had a tobacco habit for about 15 years to boot.
