Having a varied skill set from various technical schools and jobs served me very well.

Electronics, optics, hydraulics, pneumatics, precision mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, welding, operating cranes and other heavy equipment, photography, writing etc., as I blundered from job to job.

Never did get a resume' done, somebody always hired me before I got half way through writing it.

I never got a degree, but have more education than many who do have a degree.

There was no way I was going to waste time attending the indoctrination courses the leftist extremists force on students.

IMHO in addition to being indoctrination are a welfare system for "educators" who are to incompetent to do anything useful.

I used to think college was OK if your aspirations worked in that direction. Mine didn’t at the time. Now, college is a big money pit & there are other perhaps better choices. It would depend a lot on which college you chose. I’m well past college age now & if I did go, what would it be for....to get some indoctrination while I sit around in retirement?
