I’m not sure of that. AI has more information than we do. “Smart” is the ability to take information and turn it into knowledge, to understand the information and combine the pieces of information in a useful way. AI can do that sometimes, but I’m not sure it can do it reliably.
They are already giving AI the benefit of the doubt over humans even when it is wrong. They are going to trust the AI and hide behind AI decisions right or wrong. It is great “plausible deniability” for them.
