“Uncut Gems” is by far his best movie, IMHO.
It is not a comedy. He portrays a NYC diamond/jewelry merchant. It gets a 91% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
It also was nominated for many awards.
It is not like any of his other stupid comedy movies.
HOWEVER, Happy Gilmore is by far his best comedy movie. It is silly, stupid, slap stick “guy” humor. Most women hate this movie. Just like they don’t think Caddyshack is funny.
Caddyshack IS funny. Most of it, anyway.
I remember reading that it was a very wild druggy kind of scene with the actors off camera and the girl playing Danny Noonan's GF went off the rails and into a reclusive life afterwards. I wonder what happened to her.
