What on earth do you cut with a 14 foot chain saw, unless a California red wood tree?

I think it’s a small chain saw on a 14’ pole...

I purchased a small battery powered version on a 10’ (to be generous) pole myself. The weird thing is that they left out a chain oil reservoir / pump button. So, I apply a bit of oil from a small squirt bottle, saw a little, apply a little more oil, saw a bit more... It’s still a lot easier than a manual pole saw, and if I can lash my long ladder to a tree, I can usually get 20 ft. up, relatively safely... I limit it to branches 2” dia. and smaller, to minimize wear, as I don’t expect great sawing life out of a cheapy.

The main thing is taking care so the branch doesn’t whack me when it comes down!

The chain saw part is branch trimming size, around a foot and a half or so. The battery-electrified pole that holds it up is 14 feet, so you can trim small ornamental trees without a cherry picker. I have a couple of 20-ft and 25-ft trees that I like to keep in that range. I cut some branches from the ground, some from a step ladder, and some from out of an upstairs window.

This is not the exact one I have, but it's similar:
