IIRC it was Elizabeth Warren who started the whole “you didn’t build that” and claimed public roads and services as an example of how businesses use these taxpayer funded benefits for profits which they don’t share with taxpayers i.e. the government.
Looking back, I see it was Warren reviving Obama’s 2012 campaign.
