Drug addicts in Chicago, when their LINK benefit cards get reloaded with our tax dollars, go to larger grocery stores and fill up a shopping cart with pop and use their card to pay. They then sell the pop to the smaller local Arab stores, which are prevalent in the high crime areas, all so they can get cash to buy dope. There needs to be scrutiny of these systems by DOGE, so much fraud and abuse.

In Portland (OR), when the benefit cards get reloaded, the local junkies buy carts of cheap bottled water. They then go out into the parking lot and empty the bottles, then return them at a self-service bottle return location. Up to 350 bottles per day, per person. Adds up after a bit.

I wonder how many folks know that originally 'pop' and snack chips and such were not eligible for food stamps. As a matter of fact, I didn't know that they now are eligible until fairly recently... what a rip off of good working people.

There was video some time ago where a guy followed a Muslim woman in hijab who used welfare food benefits (SNAP, WIC, don’t remember which) to load up a cart full of soda at Costco. He followed her out of the store, then drove and followed her back to her convenience store, where she proceeded to unload everything where she would sell it. She knew he was recording her, they had words, and she basically told him, “Screw you; try and stop me.”
