Moreover, Dundee had a purple tattoo,
And struck in her belt where she buckled it through
Were a dagger, an axe, and a squizzamaroo,
For fierce was the Patriot Dundee.
So fearsome she was she would shout at a tough,
And when she saw the weather grow rough
She drank from a bottle of courage and bluff,
Did the Patriot with Dirk of Dundee.
Oh, she had a cutlass that swung at her thigh
And she dared any pervert to try to come nigh,
And a wild, Celtic look in her eye
Had Patriot Dirk of Dundee.
She faced the devils, this wee maiden bold,
And vowed to see them covered with mould,
And held all the weapons a young girl can hold!
Oh jing! went the axe of Dundee.
Their conscience, of course was crook’d like a squash,
And all of their members she swore she would quash,
Ach, she went through the world with a wonderful swash,
Did the Patriot with Dirk of Dundee.
The press called her wicked as wicked could be,
Her charges outnumbered a hundred and three,
But oh, she was perfectly gorgeous to see,
The Patriot with Dirk of Dundee.
