Tell her to try Duolingo. They will teach you to say things like "We are looking for a big donkey and a large machine."

(That was the point I cancelled my subscription. I wanted to know directions, how to order at a restaurant, or where to find the bathroom. My travel plans almost never include donkeys or machines of any size.)
