Re Christian hope:
True. I hope to be worthy of Hope.
You aren't, but Christ is.
Well said! —
“I hope to be worthy of Hope”.
That’s exactly how my faith prays, as well! After all, the presumption of Heaven is a sin. Sometimes Catholic guilt wants to freeze frame that. It can get a little heavy.
I generally find Catholics will read anything but, still, not the Holy Bible.
The stories...we know about...from the Old Testament. We just don’t read it.
It’s time to pull out the original King James Version (KJV), blow the dust off the cover, and read.
(We’re adults by now. We don’t need the kiddie Bible from creeping modernism.)
The love of God is spoken into the heart of man, right there in the Bible.
His love for we little ones, came first. Not the other way around.
His love is divine.
Ours is not.
His divine love make us His.
God gets you before you close the last page of the first Book— Genesis.
And David in the Psalms? From a boy a king. Oh, wow.
The 23 Psalm in the old KJV is glorious, there. It is almost unrecognizable in so many newer bibles.
I feared it would go the way of the Mass. You should get one. Just in case.
I so feared the old 40’s Traditional Missals would disappear, that I’ve collected several.
That’s all you need. Suffering is r___________, remember.
You have already shown that you have it. Take it from one who knows. 🙏🙏🙏
