I seem to recall someone here making a statement that a certain face value in constitutional silver would equal one troy ounce of silver. Something like $10.52 (just a guess) in face value of pre-1964 would equal one troy ounce. Am I misremembering this?

Yet it is VERY democratic of you to want to force a private company to continue something they have discontinued because you think it may have value for illegals. The fence pickets have to be getting uncomfortable, pick a side. They discontinued it, if you think it is worthy, pay for it yourself. Enough virtue signaling with someone else's money.
