The lovely thing about most families is sometimes having a president, for whom I and mine are all together able to really care for, almost as if he is part of our family.

An occasional critical word doesn’t cause much excitement in a family, nor should it concerning the well-being of our phenomenal president, though it is important that he listen and is aware, I believe.

I like to think POTUS responded to the base, once he was made to realize there was some real hurt there.

The media had nothing to do with the offense taken by the base. That was simply the initial go-to parrot points issued from the White House, while testing the extent of rumblings from the base to the WH switch board and online.

President Trump did listen. He did make a correction in both tone, and explicitly in substance.

I don’t mind saying that I was grateful for it.

But first, he publically cleared the air on Virginia Giuffre, the spa, and that she was “stolen”.

Well done by the man himself.👏Bravo.

Personally. I’ve never given thought to pretending not to notice Jolting behavior, particularly in someone I care about. It seems for lack of a better word pretentious to not see, not hear, least of all to never speak critically of it. To shush or to couch words about jolting events comes unnatural, from some place most Americans have been ever Unaccustomed.

My God, men have died for such freedom.

I would like for POTUS to look his best abroad as well, and to be seen sure and firm, steady but caring, without a hint of bombast or dreaded imperialistic overtone.

Sun Tsu spoke to hiding advantages and disadvantages, true conditions behind the scenes.

Such clarity is always in view, for those playing at Sun Tsu. I bought the book, myself.

I do remember Putin crediting Trump as “unpredictable”, way back during the campaign. HRC vs DJT.

I’ve wondered of the effect for Sun Tsu strategy, when someone is unpredictable by nature, and it’s not a ruse? I suppose there is a strategic patience that shifts toward actions, more than words.

Like a couple of our nuclear subs.

Our respective reactions to President Trump’s every pronouncement are not quite the same, but we clearly feel the same way about him - a very good man and leader, and someone we care a lot about. Good discussion, Rita, as always.
