This is great that Kennedy and Oz are stopping bad medical protocols but what about the victims of previous such protocols and their families that are left behind? Do the hospitals and Medicare owe them anything and weren't crimes committed that need to go through the Justice system?

Hopefully the VA hospitals will follow what Kennedy and Oz are saying; last October a relative of mine got covid and the VA hospital wanted to give remdesivir and relative emphatically told them under no circumstances were they to do that.
Got industrial strength antibiotics and that did the trick.

This gives medical practitioners room to apply thought and experience to individualized practice instead of following a flow chart. Hospitals/practices have been manacled to CDC/AMA/AHA/etc flow charts/”best practices” to get paid —and a huge chunk of payment comes from medicare/medicaid.

Payment has been all or nothing, ie all patients get the flow chart or nothing gets paid for anything.
