i remember where my wife worked nights and I had mandatory overtime.
We signed up with a home day care to take care of our daughter for a couple of hours until i could pick her up.
After the 2nd time there, my daughter went absolutely ape-spit crazy the 3rd time we tried to drop her off.
I don’t know what went on there, but we took her out of it immediately and made other arrangements that didn’t include any baby-sitting.
