I ran into a NOAA officer one time, in uniform. Now that's something memorable. It was in, of all places, the Ft. Belvoir, Exchange. She was a newly minted Ensign in whites.

About eight years ago I ran into a female Lieutenant from the Public Health Service coming out of our local Publix grocery store.

Except for the Space Force, I have met someone from all of the uniformed services while they were in uniform. NOAA and Public Health Service are the hard ones.

NOAA and Public Health Service are the hard ones.

You gotta be near DC for those, never saw either, not in the desert, or Oki or the boat. Leaving me to conclude that while they exist, they do squat for the pointy end of the spear.
