as soon as gas prices start coming down throw another 25 cent tax on gas & nobody will ever notice
Something else strange re: gas prices
Usually they are fairly competitive, but the last
2 months or so varied by 50-70 cents just cheap gas.
The other thing been going on much longer, the difference
in price from 87 octane to mid and premium used to be 10-15
cents higher 40 years ago now it’s about $1/gal each grade.
