The beautiful main plaza in Florence, with all its amazing statuary, is now marred by this monstrosity:
She is in sloppy clothes and she has a fat azz. And she’s done nothing great—unlike all the other heroic statues in the square. She celebrates our mediocrity.
THAT IS SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Speaking of ugly in Europe, I was appalled at the graffiti when Mr. Claret and I visited about 10 years ago. I was shocked that just about every square inch 6’ from the ground was covered with it. Historic buildings, businesses, apartments, everything. The only country that was clean was Monaco. So it can be done. They just don’t want to.
I”m surprised that this hideosity was allowed in Italy!
Its holding a cell phone, yeah thats mediocre.
